C.B. Pearson’s campaign for Senate District 46 has got me excited. There aren’t too many candidates who have the experience he does. C.B.’s been lobbying in Washington, D.C., Helena, and elsewhere for common-sense liberal causes, like stricter gun control and smoking bans, for decades.
Anyone attacking him for being a for-profit lobbyist is being unfair. C.B. has the support of Missoula’s leading progressives like Councilmember Gwen Jones and former Mayor Jordan Hess. Good issue advocacy costs money and C.B. Pearson is one of the best in the biz.
Montana homeowners are under attack with property tax increases, irresponsible housing development, and noisy gravel pits appearing throughout the state. Now is not the time to test out inexperienced candidates like his primary opponent. Now is the time to send people with chops, like C.B. Pearson, to fight for us in Helena.
If you live in Potomac, East Missoula, the Swan Valley, or the Rattlesnake, the choice is clear: C.B. Pearson for Senate District 46.
